Who cares when the video of Shoigu was made?

The most important thing in my opinion is that he has been shown first thing in the morning on Russian news as the man in charge of the Ministry of Defense as usual, acting as nothing has ever happened over the weekend.

Meanwhile Wagner's recruiting offices are already opened in Belorussia, yet the criminal case opened against Prigozhin by FSB is not closed.
Things are getting interesting.

Oh now you are supporting Putin all of a sudden?

What do you mean, "who cares" when the video was made? Until we can confirm it was made after events on Saturday, we can't be sure he's alive at this point. There was a Telegram report that he and Gerasimov had been killed.

The case against Prigozhin isn't closed? What about the cases against his men? Closed? Still open? Maybe they'll close the case after he shows up in Belarus. He was reported to be in Rostov all weekend. He has to demonstrate that he's complying with his side of the bargain, before they'll close the case. That's smart on the part of the FSB. How else would they guarantee compliance?

I don't know, I kinda scrolled past that long post of Ukrkoz, once I saw all those crazy conspiracy theories, that certain "reliable Russian TG channels" were full of yesterday.
Quite a few of them were spreading rumors ( false of course) that Putin supposedly used Wagner in order to get rid of Shoigu and Gerasimov and their corruption, and that Prigozhin was really "Putin's man in disguise" all along.

Bwa-ha-ha)))

Why did we get the news that Prigozhin's case was dropped? Wasn't it that pesky Peskov who said no case will be pursued and he's free to go to Belarus?

Today, the Russian Prosecutor's office says he's still a wanted man. So which is it? This explains why we won't hear from Prigozhin and he's trying to get to the Caribbean currently.

Why wouldn't he be alive?
He is Putin's trusty man, one of the pillars of Putin's corrupt administration.

Shoigu was hand-picked by Putin for this particular role ( the Defense Minister.)

OFFICIALLY the case was closed against Prigozhin only I think.

But they ( Putin and FSB) know very well who Wagner's "elders" are ( the commanders council.)
So they ( Putin and Co) would finish them all off one after another once they would be done with Prigozhin and his whole military unit.

Only 1-2% of Wagnerians agreed to sign the contract with MoD.

The rest went for that "March of justice," because they knew what this MoD contract enforced on them would mean for Wagner. It would effectively destroy them, and they created Wagner SPECIFICALLY in order to not to be under the commandment of inept corrupt idiots like Shoigu and Gerasimov.

Yes, initially they all sh*tted in their pants in Moscow/Kremlin, once they saw the reaction of civilians in Rostov greeting Wagner, plus they were not sure what the mood of Russian troops exactly was, how many of them were supporting Wagner.

So initially Putin and Co were ready to promise whatever.

But now, once their fear subsided, they are back to their usual selves.

So... as one of Russian bloggers has recently noted - "In six months Lukashenko received the nuclear weapons and one of the best fighting units in the world. The clown in Kiev needs to learn a thing or two."

Someone here posted on one of these threads, a "report" from Telegram, by someone who said (speculated?), that the real coup was something orchestrated by Shoigu and Gerasimov, to replace the existing president with someone else (not clear who). An insider coup had been planned, but was discovered, the conspirators were disposed of, and the march on Moscow was fake theater as a distraction, according to the source.

Now, it's to be expected that all kinds of conspiracy theories and rumors would be flying around Russia. (Just look at our very own C-D, lol!) But just in case there might be some truth to that "item" floating around the 'net, it would be helpful to have some concrete proof of Shoigu's continued existence.

The underlined is what I expected. It would make no sense for the Wagner boys to agree to be under the Ministry's thumb, the same Ministry that had failed them miserably, the Ministry that their leader had loudly accused of incompetence.

Thanks for the update!
