This so far means nothing. A person can be "in position" but be depleted of any power. As example, Moltke Junior was officially in position of high commander for a month and a half, while he had no real power.
Russia is a SLOW country and huge bureaucratic apparatus can't be moved fast. Same here, actually.
Wasn't it you who posted yesterday a long quote from a news source, that said Shoigu and Gerasimov had been killed?
Who is it, who called it a "coup" attempt in the first place? Was it Russian news sources? The Prezident himself? Western news sources? How could it possibly have been a coup attempt; how would that have been achieved once Prig reached Moscow?
The hullabaloo about a coup and a "civil war" (involving only Wagner? That's not a civil war), reminded me of the Putsch in Moscow, where Western sources and observers were predicting a civil war. Russia's citizenry wasn't talking about a civil war. "Who would fight in a civil war" they'd ask, in response to questions about the possibility or likelihood of one. "Who is the opposition, and whom are they opposing?" It sounded like a fantasy.
This kind of talk, about a coup and/or a civil war in this instance was nothing more than news outlet sensationalism.

The Russian state site has posted a video from Shoigu - it's unclear when the video was taken, but seems the guy is still in charge since they posted it. So Prigozhin didn't get one of his demands and crappy military leadership remains. Not much help for their Ukraine fake cause.
I don't see anything there that indicates the video was taken since events Saturday. The text says, he doesn't speak in the video. There's no way to know when that footage was taken.

Also one of the watches in the video was apparently blurred out. Possibly because it shows a date.

I somewhat agree, however Priggy being the opportunist that he is, if some of the Russian army had decided to come along with him and he saw a large percentage of the Russian population behind him, he would have definitely pounced on the opportunity..but he's not stupid..once he got almost to Moscow he realized he didn't have near enough troops by himself to effect that change..nice try Priggy but you are lucky to have gotten out alive......so far..lol..and you made Putin look like a scared rabbit..he's still pissed about that..
I'm a sick pup...I watched that too many times..lol..^^^
