I think mega corporations lobby for policies specifically intended to maximize people's dependence on them for work. If health insurance wasn't tied to employment, and if there were fewer zoning/licensing laws, plus a much simpler tax system, more people would quit unsatisfying jobs and start their own businesses.
Those massive companies don't want that. It'd mean more potential competition and a much smaller and less desperate selection of potential workers.
Timothy McVeigh's actions were clearly wrong and he deserved to be punished for them, but perhaps the liberal media should understand the roots of this anti-government sentiment. after all after 9-11 we were bombarded with how we must understand why Muslims hate the USA. Also McVeigh was unfairly portrayed as a white nationalist when he was motivated by anti-government activism and there is no evidence he was a racist and nor a history of him saying or writing racist things. If he was a racist I would be less understanding of him but what he did at OKC was a response to what the feds did at Waco.
Timothy McVeigh saw his victims' deaths as collateral damage, this is what most or all terrorists invariably do. The Oklahoma City bombing was his act of revenge against the government.
It's odd how you seem to condemn his "anti-government activism" as you've portrayed the Oklahoma City bombing & his victims' death ... & yet you are unduly concerned that he is "unfairly portrayed as a white nationalist"? What gives?

Voluntary assisted euthanasia will never be legal for physically healthy people, because governments and corporate entities would lose a lot of their pawns.
Same reason religions claim those who commit suicide would go to hell.
