I don't think you are being honest here. State ID at the very minimum will be required for many things today. I wouldn't even walk my dog without ID because if I had an accident how would I be identified?
I'm being completely honest.
And since I own a home in a quiet neighborhood, I even leave my front door unlocked when I walk my dog. I don't have to worry about being id'd. People actually know me. The police officers actually know me.
You think everyone in the country lives in the same circumstances as you. And that's not true.
As I said, I haven't been asked for identification at all in at least five years except when I go to vote, and even then it's not required.
My doctor doesn't ask for identification, my dentist doesn't ask for identification. And I can assure you, there are many people who live similarly to me.
Hows that prius running there Mr republican? Sure your a republican. Why not say libertarian? After all , thats what many repubs called themselves whn they finaly realized dubs was a moron.

Try staying on topic.. no prius, a Ford fusion hybrid.
Seems I need a photo id to get a birth certificate, and a need a birth certificate to get a photo id... Anyone notice the problem I will encounter???
LOL. This is exactly, what I was talking about. They have categories of docs and they overlap. It has gotten just psycho nuts what they require you to have to get ID.
Apparently, you can live and work in US your entire life, but if you are missing certain docs, well. I guess you just don't exist.
Most people in retirement and nursing homes usually don't have a state id or a drivers license, and for lots of them it would be a nightmare getting them to the DMV. Lots of retirees past driving age don't have id either.
You're wrong as usual. To even get in the building, City Hall, you need a photo ID. If I didn't have a photo id I couldn't get into the building where the documents are held that you need to get a photo id... Irony???
So, using my DL to get in I was able to order my BC, AFTER SHOWING MY PHOTO ID AGAIN.
Costs, 56 miles, $25 for BC, $2.25 to park for an hour, and just under three hours travel time, filling out form and waiting in a four deep line... Of course, if I didn't have an id already I would still be at square one.
If I didn't have a photo id, I couldn't have obtained my BC, a document needed to get a photo id. No irony there?
Not worth saying it anymore - they just don't get it.
