You posed the question--- "why are so many people talking about the hoodie he was wearing or the fact that he didn't put the hood down?"
I guess that was a rhetorical question. I'll ask one too. Why was there a Million Hoodie March instead of a Million White Tennis Shoes or Million Sweatpants March ?
If you'd rather discuss the cop's conclusion that the killing was avoidable if gz had stayed in his car and and what crime, if any, gz committed, do.
The crime GZ is accused of (innocent until proven guilty) is 2nd degree murder of Trayvon Martin.
Of course they do. So what's your point? I never said GZ was a racist, but he definitely made a judgment call based on what he felt was wrong about Trayvon Martin. It was his perception. When does perception, especially when that logic and reasoning is clouded by stress & anxiety, become reality?
When someone bangs your head against the sidewalk?
I cant believe a couple thousand people jump
Up and down and this innocent man gets arrested. And for what? Volunteering to make his neaighborhood safer from burglers?
And poor sweet Traybon had stolen women's jewlery, marijuanu and burglery tools found in his school locker.
Guess you "can't believe" it because it's not true. This guy got arrested because a special prosecutor investigated the incident and decided, as is her job to do, that indeed your so-called "innocent man" was not innocent at all and charged him with 2nd degree murder. Btw, where did you get your law degree?
The dead teenager's backpack, his locker at school, had absolutely NOTHING to do with why Zimmerman shot and killed him.
Seems that critical thinking is not your strong point. Actually, being objective is not either. When you get a law degree, and you've been elected as a State Attorney, then please give us your legal perspective on this case. Otherwise, just seems like you're ranting about a lot of things which are beyond your ability to really understand or judge.
Neighborhood Watch rules preclude the use of arms, and of pursuing people. Watch and report, only. Besides, when brought up that GZ violated NW rules, his defenders come along and say, "he wasn't really doing NW". As Nancy said a while back, it becomes a ridiculous game of "who's on first".
To summarize, if GZ was performing NW duty, he was in massive violation of the rules. If he was OK with carrying his gun around (on a planned trip to Target, no less) then he was not doing NW! You can't have it both ways!
When's the last time you boarded a plane or walked into a federal building?
Those people are more concerned with what's IN YOUR POCKETS, ETC., than what's on your head. They search or scan EVERYBODY. Surely you didn't think a woman/man dressed in a business suit and carrying a briefcase would just sail through without being searched or scanned, did you?
