See, this is part of the strategy of the case which I find enormously interesting.
I think we can agree that how a jury will perceive a defendant's refusal to testify is always a concern to the defense. In an immunity hearing before a judge, the attitude of jurors that an innocent person will always want to testify won't be as bad.

Unless either 1. O'Mara decides that gz is one of those rare defendants who'd be a good witness [unlikely], or 2. his statements to the cops were damaging rather than helpful to the self defense claim [unlikely, but possible], I don't think he'll take the stand.

Above is my opinion.

Whatever the outcome,I think Florida`s "right to shoot an unarmed man" law will be revisited. If not, anyone can start a fight with whoever they choose and when things aren`t going their way, just shoot him.

Does somebody have to be armed to be a threat?

No they don`t but this law allows anyone to shoot whoever they want and claim they were threatened.

I just don't get it. A young man, who was doing nothing wrong, was shot to death
And how do you know that?
Cristal ball?

You hit it on the head. Try boarding a plane or walk to a federal building wearing the hoodie...
