There's 12 people on the jury. They're not all idiots. Quite frankly, juries are made up of largely of older people who want to give punishment. The prosecution didn't prove their case. A cop had to be called 3 times to come on look at the body of the poor girl.
The government has to prove it's case to 12 citizens before the state is allowed to remove most rights from a person. They didn't prove their case.
You guys all watch Nancy Grace too much.

Florida seems to have more serial killers and violent offenders than most other states. Some psychopaths see themselves as heros and saviors.... odds are better than average that she is going to run into someone who feels empowered to give her some justice. She'll never be free from fear during her waking hours or nightmares when she sleeps. That is a very real form of punishment...maybe more tortuous than the electric chair.
im tired of this case anyways. people get murdered everyday, what makes this case so special.
not saying im for her dying or anything.
im saying why this is such a big deal when people die everyday.
