Why would you be depressed if it was pretty busy?
And why are you so scared of masks? It's a pretty simple easy way to protect yourself and others.

Could you bother checking the news before posting so you don't get your facts dead wrong or is that too much to ask for? The city has said it's allowing skate parks and tennis again, and churches are starting to look at resuming services. The Diocese has re-opened churches and it looking at resuming masses for the first weekend in June.

If you can get past the title and some of the initial stuff re: how the media and big corps might try to manipulate this situation, I think this is a good perspective. In essence, this is a once in a hundred year (or more) opportunity to re-think how we live and spend our time and money without having to face the devastation and human carnage that would be a great world war.

In other words, I think for as annoying as this might seem, there's a really significant silver lining if you choose to view it that way, especially if you are lucky enough to have a job or enough savings to see you through without starving.

Giving in due to fear is no way to live.

Don’t worry. Everything will resume to green depending on who wins in November.

I mean President Trump is going to be re-elected if that's what you were asking?

If Trump is re-elected Dems will do everything possible to continue the goose chase that’s been going on for 3+ years, tell people to stay scared, remain home and don’t question it, if he’s not, everything will be open green light right after unless people do it on their own beforehand.

People would never go till Nov. If we were red much longer we would see much more protesting. My now 69 year old mother (had a lockdown Birthday) would have been out protesting. She even said to me that this is worse than COVID. She's been locked up for 10 weeks, she would rather MAYBE get COVID and MAYBE get a really bad version than continue like this which is a GUARANTEE that her health continues to decline in isolation. If she loses too much strength she would end up in a home which is worse that death to her.

I expect that also, but I also expect the Dems keeping everything yellow as long as possible and/or trying to go back and forth as much as possible, and keep the economy lagging as much as possible until the election.
