18.4 per day. Such a low number out of over 1.2 million people. Hospitals are completely quiet and really this is nothing in our region.

Time to move on to green, so people can get a haircut.

There has been evidence that this virus will be seasonal right from the beginning. There were studies which showed this but the media would not report that because it did not fit their narrative. Last night I saw a video by a doctor. The countries with increasing cases and deaths are in the southern hemisphere. When Trump suggested the virus might decrease in the warm weather he was attacked by the media and the democrats.

It looks like Wolf is getting his beard professionally trimmed.

Practicing what one preaches isn’t popular. Chicago mayor, who is one of the most ridiculous of all, got caught having her hair done.

I'm now in gg's camp. Never thought I would say something like that. It is impossible to have a balanced perspective in this environment. We have resolved to speculating about whether an elected official had his beard professionally trimmed. Meanwhile, we have people dying due to a novel virus and and are otherwise concerned of the impact to our healthcare infrastructure while also dealing with a devastated economy and environment of isolation that are wreaking havoc on the livelihoods. We are talking about an extremely challenging balance to manage. Why the hell are we name calling and fighting?

May 21: new infections per day, from last 11 days, starting with most distant:

8, 15, 19, 6, 31, 13, 8, 38, 17, 29, 31

oh, sheesh....

good news: 3 straight days, ZERO deaths in Allegheny County. The # of infections the last two days, though, is troubling.

sorry - but the gig is up. if you are female, and a leader in government, no longer are you some hero, some "strong woman". People know damn well now there is hypocrisy, bullcrap, and corruption (Baltimore, for the last one) among ALL genders and backgrounds.

Its heartening, though - that people can be judged by their merits, finally, like Dr. King said, and what I took to heart when we learned about him so long ago.

Short version: she's a hypocritical, self-serving demagogue that, when push comes to shove, is no better than anyone else. and leaders SHOULD at least fake being better than anyone else. not a saint - but an EXAMPLE, at least, to show leadership.

Just to be sure, I believe in being careful and opening. As to why people are name calling, that has been going on in force since people can now hide behind a computer screen instead of meeting face to face and run the risk of being beat up. The internet is a net loss as it gives morons a new found voice and those morons can find other morons. The middle minded are quiet as they get attacked from both sides as they aren’t viewed as moderates. Maybe in a decade or so we will figure it out or we go more nuts.
