Seems a bit disingenuous by the Republicans - theyve already done what they can do to reopen real estate. Its Commissar Wolf and his communist minions in the General Assembly who wont vote to overturn his veto that are holding back real estate from re-opening.

This is a good read to have a better understanding about COVID vs. Influenza and by age.

I had to make an emergency trip to the hospital late Friday night due to what I thought was appendicitis. It turned out to be a kidney stone passing. An EMT told me that there are currently 63 people hospitalized for Covid in Allegheny County. That's more than I expected.

63 out of 1.2 million. That is probably much less than a normal flu season.

the incubation period is the difference - if you get the flu, you know soon after exposure, generally, with chills and general fatigue, muscle cramps....

Yep that, and this isn't something you get over in just a couple days, it can take weeks to get better too.

thanks, brad. i barely argued the point all along, then just stopped some time ago, until earlier today.

all this time, the protocol was cautionary, preventative. what else CAN one mandate if the situation is unprecedented? freedom is not FREE, after all.

not only that, but the lingering virus in some metro areas, in my opinion, is because of idiot people who have prolonged this.

but oh JOY - we have all done such a good job individually in Allegheny County. regardless of politics, we should all be proud of our collective effort!

That's 63 in the hospital on Friday, not the total number of hospotalizations since this began.

Yeah and I stand by my statement. Probably less than normal flu stuff. Hospitals in our region just didn't have much in the way of cases around here. Of course the idiot Wolf has us all locked up like we are all a bunch of dopes. He is the dope.
