As for the school thing...<sigh>...At the risk of branding myself a Super-Duper Helicoptery Special Snowflake Uber-Mom, I'm just tired of teachers who cannot get it through their heads that A) 2e does not mean slow and B) that even if it did, telling a child who is in a class designed for gifted kids that "you don't belong here, there must be some scheduling mistake" without knowing anything about her is foolish. And doing it in those words is just mean. (Guess that would be C.)

I am trying to channel my inner Delicate Flower, but it turns out she's Ouiser Boudreaux.

Oooh, who's Ouiser Boudreaux? Sounds intriguing.

Yes, LSE and MissFR should meet - if he doesn't mind older women.

Hey, women live longer. I highly recommend younger men (Mr. Aconite is a bit younger, though not exactly qualifying for "Boy Toy" status.)

And Ouiser is Shirley MacLaine's character in Steel Magnolias: Ouiser Boudreaux (Character) - Quotes

I am very happy with my make and model of "Boy Toy", they are most certainly highly recommended.

I'd never seen it spelled either. Now I know!
She is one of the best characters ever...and the combination of that character and Olympia Dukakis's character is priceless.

Aconite, that's funny, GF.

I bawl my eyes out at movies like that. I'm a terrible weeper.

I made delicious meaty ravioli sauce last night, and I made the mistake of eating some leftovers and couldn't stop. Now I have food coma. I hate that.

(hang on .... waddaya mean this isn't my facebook page?)
