How is it possible to screw up breakfast? I went out with friends this morning, to the "Flying Biscuit". Zim, familiar? I couldn't even eat the food. Now, since it has reached the magic hour, I am drinking wine on a mostly empty stomach. It's gonna be an early night.
Seriously? Did you go to the new one on Mansell? I have only been to that that location once since they closed the one down near me. I love the Flying Biscuit, one of my fave breakfast joints, I have always had wonderful food there, so I'm very surprised to hear that. I hope you complained. I love the goat cheese omelettes.

Yes, Zim, it was the one on Mansell. I just couldn't eat it. I probably ordered poorly, since I knew I hated sausage, but somehow I though chicken sausage would be less greasy. The grits were soooo rich I couldn't choke them down either. Our waitress must have said something, because the cook came out and apologized. I felt bad. He gave us coupons towards our next meal, but I don't see myself returning. I don't do well eating out. It's just my personal hangup.
