Have many noticed the "new" JCP (Penny')? The new pricing is all round numbers. Hasn't seemed to be much appreciated yet based on stock reports. So marketing to deceive works?
Sadly, yes. I actually like round numbers and JCP. I think their biggest hurdle is their shoppers dont like change.
there are deceptions and there are little games -- and this is the latter. If someone is fooled and can't round up, i have trouble worrying about them.
I'm considering ignoring friends who are newly married. I'll just move on and move out of the state. You know, make new friends and perhaps get a boyfriend or something. Kind of like ignoring friends when you got your first boyfriend.

What is going on in this nation?! There was a shooting at a mall that's about 40 miles from where I live this evening ... Thank GOD no one was hurt and the suspect was apprehended but this is insane! A friend on Facebook posted that her daughter was there when it happened ... This is too much!

It seems the criminals are looking for their world-wide fame knowing that their actions may result in their own death or life in prison. Whatever is going on in each murderous insane mind is the deeply rooted cause and a good guess at final motivation is the non-stop violence seen and heard from so many sources in our lives.
Illness, harm, death and loss touches someone somewhere every minute of each day. There has been so much devastation to others this past year and more of it touching me personally than in my entire life. I've been waiting to see some of the good that allegedly comes with the Year of the Dragon and I have seen none of it. I've given it deep thought way beyond logic. I've considered the possibility of a higher power allowing these things because we need to learn something. I have not found any answers or explanations. None of it makes sense.
There are simply too many crazies out there in the news! It’s gotta stop! I’m hearing of several different locations around the country where it sounds like someone else is a “wanta be” or worse. Nutcases needing their fifteen minutes of fame, some even providing a sick hoax or trying to be a copy-cat.
Last week my man received the good news that he was promoted at his job. He had been waiting for a couple of years for this promotion, and we are both happy that he wouldn't be working the overnight shift anymore.
And then today we found out he is working Christmas Day, from 2:00 on.
I’ve got an appointment at the chiropractor’s office this morning. And I don’t want to gooooooooooo!
