Ok, so DH and I were just getting back on our feet after he lost his job and changed careers. My job was great with great benefits, too, but I just found out that my job is being eliminated in October. At my age, I doubt I'll get another full time job.
Stress? Heck, ya. it makes me feel as if we're being punished for some reason.
I'm sorry to read about your bad news gentlearts. It's the same here in England as in the US. People are just hanging on best they can. There is no real sign of genuine improvement with jobs. In parts of Europe things are very hard. The Greek economy is in meltdown. Once the powers that be finish kicking them, it'll be Spain, or Italy next. I think sometimes of the 30s Great Depression. It started in 1929, but reached it's deepest part in 1933, four years later. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself.
Nice to know there are some men who want to please their spouse, road trips can be unpredictable.
On vacation once we took 3 shar~pei from Florida all the way up through SC, NC, tenn, KY, Ohio and Indiana. I may write a story about it, but will not be doing that again
The most stressful thing about this storm is the death of one person Sunday. Last night the news included that she was thrown from her home about 200 feet into the woods. She was clutching her 3 year child and still had her arms wrapped around the child when she was found. So sad.
News comment: She was found still cradling her child, who was being treated at a Tampa hospital. "She never let go of her little one, even in death," Highland County Sheriff Susan Benton said.

That is sad, Kitty.
My vent for the day: I just spent 2 hours trying to get a business card program from Avery to print for me...and this was the 3rd or 4th time I've used the darned thing. Their instructions stink. So there.

There is no love like a mother's love. Such a tragic story..........my heart breaks for their family.
I hate when family think its okay to take advantage of you because they're family members.
