In your opinion, how recent does the xray have to be if i was to get it done at my doctor? I am going to see my doctor this june but i wont be starting processing for sanitation til next year in 2017. Its a big time gap i would think, no?

If your BP is high when you get re-tested you're gonna get dq'd anyway.. They are not going to test you again. Trust me. Take the meds before you get to the clinic and you will be fine.

When I got on I had high bp also, I had to be retested, told them I was on meds and it was not a problem, this was also 3 yrs ago so I don't know if things changed from then. But I know for sure it was not a problem that i was on meds at the time.
i had my medical on on 3/25. My friend who went a day before me 3/24
She had high blood pressure. She was told to come back next week 3/31. So what she did was she went to her doctor and got her blood pressure taken a again and get a clearance letter. She also handing in her blood pressure reports from the past 6 months to show she never had high blood pressure.

You will fill out a form then call to schedule the date whiich is held at Floyd Bennett Field (M-F 6am-2pm & 1 additional day for road test) it cost $900 which will be paid by DSNY then deducted out of your pay check $25 per week once employed.

Anyone know what number they consider "high" for blood pressure? my Top number fluctuates between high 130's and low 140's. Its usually 100+ your age so taking into account i'm in my late 30's maybe im good?
