I was in Windows of the World, which on Fridays had the best after work party I've ever been in, with DJ Ruben Toro spinning classic disco tunes. Beautiful and elegant crowd! And while it's now taboo to say it, yes, the Trammps were there one Friday singing Disco Inferno! They turned the place out!
Wow these stories are interesting. I always remember seeing them but I never gave them much thought. Of course I was a little girl but...I wish I had a chance to visit them at least once. RIP to all of the victims.

I think people also have to remember that the buildings were built to help revive the downtown area. They were built at a time when simplistic functionality was the key. The most space in the smallest space with no waste was the order of the day. That's exactly what the towers delivered.
They were ugly, they looked like something a two year old could have come up with. Two gigantic blocks, wow. What is being built now is about a million times better.

Seriously, people are adaptable. People live in the Himalayas and the Andes.
Man made structures to be exact.
If a fire occurs in a structure constructed by man, only the worse can happen. People become entraped. If you have no where to escape a tragedy, you become entraped. Hence, why over 200 people jumped or was pushed from both towers.
