From what I’ve seen it’s taking 1 month + for everyone who has been contacted

Spoke to my marketing agent because I had some questions; apparently people started moving in last week and that as soon as you get approved by HPD they aim for the lease to be signed and deposited remitted within the same week. Oddly enough, she said she isn’t 100% sure if I can see the unit before I sign the lease…but she can request it. Ummm, why wouldn’t I want to see the place before I move into it? Then she said she thinks there’s someone doing a walk through… idk she doesn’t seem to know much at all. Also, she didn’t ask for my bedroom preferences, she just said she told HPD in my file and say which units I’m eligible for (eligible for a studio, 1 & 2bedroom) but that HPD decides? Praying they approve me for a 2 bedroom and that I actually get a walk Thru of the sort.

Based on this I’ll end up passing if I get to this point and they tell me I have no choice and I’m not able to see the apartment. That’s just not something I’m comfortable as I’m choosing to live on this place for a year or 2

@ceebvndy, wow!! So after all this time, she's not sure if you can view unit or unit size!! That's very unsettling. Hopefully she finds out if you can. So you don't know if your approved for a stu, 1 or 2? I def need to see any unit before moving in. Best of luck to you. The good thing is, you have a unit!!

Yeah, she literally doesn’t know, but I know for a fact I’m not getting a studio. Lol I’m expecting and my baby boy is due June 3rd so I be damned if they shove me and a new born baby in a small a$$ studio lol! I truly believe they will give me a 2 bedroom but Im not 100% certain. Im going to make sure I get a walk through! I need to know where me and my soon to be baby will be living! Thank you!! Patiently waiting!
