"The Battle of the Sexes"
Both Carrell and Stone were excellent
Don't know if the script was adjusted regarding the real story of King's romantic attachment but the women's issues were spot on
Can remember that time and Riggs' bombast
Women and men owe lot to Billy Jean King and her work for women's parity--not just in sports either
She was worthy of Medal of Freedom
And while the actors are not great tennis players they did OK
Bill Pullman is also very good as Jack Ktamer--that typical smug chauvinist attitude is alive and well in many parts of America still...and his distain wasn't really about fact she was gay -- just being a woman and expecting parity was enough...

Son and I pulled a double header last night.

"IT" = bit disappointed given all the hype and rave reviews I was reading. Id give it a 6 out of 10

"Flatliners" = hadnt read a thing on this one but it was actually pretty good. Kind of a rip off of the old one but Id say 7

Attack the Block 2011
South London teenagers (John Boyega, Alex Esmail, Leeon Jones) defend their neighborhood from malevolent extraterrestrials.

Actually a pretty darn good sci-fi/horror movie.
