Especially with the Guardians on hold we are far from a one shot villain. You have a probable Skrull a representative of a race which probably will be a focus in the next phase as the Kree had their moments in earlier Marvel films and TV series

The fact that he seems to be stating that as an epiphany is bothersome. That is movie-making 101. Which, I guess, is why producers should stay out of the story and just pay the bills.
IMO, that's Marvel's problem. Things are usually just "good enough." They don't take a lot of chances. You may hate 90% of what WB's done, but you can't accuse them of invariability.

No. But neither can I accuse them of an overall vision. I get the impression that this person is the one planning DC's movie-verse storyline:
