Yes, I know people getting it also. It's kind of amazing how many people don't really 'care' anymore. It isn't stopping them from going to busy places particularly for food that's for sure.

I went to New York a few weeks ago and went to a packed theater one night, and maybe two people in the audience had masks on. Then the following weekend I went to a production at Arlington Friends of the Drama (one hell of a lot cheaper, I will say) and they demanded masks all the time we were in the building, plus they wanted to see your "Fauci card" before they'd let you in. A fine attitude there, but if the disease is going to get us, it has lots of opportunities.

Arlington is one of the worst towns for restrictions I know there is a bakery where the workers all wear masks still. They still asked for the vaccine passport? They are sick in the head. I have had lots of shouting matches in Arlington.

I don't even know where my card is, and no longer have a pic on my phone.

My work has officially rolled back the remaining covid protocols, and on 12/31/22 will be ending the 2 week Covid time off they gave. If you get covid in 2023, you have to use PTO like any other illness.

I dont know where my card is either.

I actually thought it seemed like a good idea for food workers to wear masks. There's a lot of germs that come out of someone's mouth and nose that end up in food. Gross. I get that it might be uncomfortable for them but seemed more sanitary.

As I mentioned i was in VT over the weekend and noticed workers weren't even wearing GLOVES and they were handling food like baked good/donuts. I noticed that a few years back at King Arthur Flour. The workers were just working away making food without having gloves on. Hopefully they wash their hands well....

Ah, one of those "Karen" customers they make TikTok videos about. What a joy!

The Karen's are the ones yelling at people to wear masks during COVID. I think there is a salon that still requires masks for customers in Arlington. Some will wear masks for the rest of their lives.

Wearing a mask is not normal . Breathing in your own bacteria. I can see the gloves though because people don't wash their hands good.

It doesn't seem to occur to some people that if they are frequently involved in conflict, they could be part of the problem.

Right. It also doesn't seem to occur to some people that the kid wearing a mask bagging up your croissant almost certainly didn't make the decision for the business and yelling at them isn't actually doing anything except make you look like an idiot.
