The places I had shouting matches were outside when people who could not mind thier business told me to wear a mask.. a couple of times I was walking in a secluded woods. That's how crazy some in Massachusetts are. They like the control .

Unless you're talking about some time in 2020 or early 2021, I just don't buy this at all. The outdoor mask requirement was lifted in the Spring of 2021. Even before that, outdoor masking was sporadic (or nonexistent in some places) at best. I'd wager that very few of us are actively wearing masks outdoors and we haven't been for a while. I've never been confronted or seen a confrontation about a mask anywhere outdoors since the restriction was lifted and I've spent a good deal of time outside in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Malden, Melrose, Salem, etc. (all of the places where you'd think those confrontations might happen). Nobody cares if you're not wearing a mask outside in 2022 and they didn't for the better part of 2021. It sounds a lot like you're making it up.

If a business still has a mask policy (I haven't seen one in a while outside of a medical/healthcare facility) and tells you to wear a mask, they're "minding their own business" in the most literal sense possible. Whether it's smart business or not in October of 2022 is a different debate but it is their right, and it's literally their business.

My work has officially rolled back the remaining covid protocols, and on 12/31/22 will be ending the 2 week Covid time off they gave. If you get covid in 2023, you have to use PTO like any other illness.
For what it's worth, the state app is alive and well, and will generate a QR code, below which will appear an up-to-date list of the vaccines & dates administered.

I lost my card a while back, but thankfully still had this on my phone. It came in handy when I got my booster this morning as the nurse at my PCP's office wanted to verify the precious dates/doses (which she should have been able to see easily on my record with the office).

It was in 2020 and early 2021. I don't know how.i did not get arrested .it happened many times in 2020 while I went for walks outside. No it does not happen in 2022.

"The northern Chinese city of Hohhot is battling the country’s first outbreak of new omicron subvariant, BF.7, which is thought to be more transmissible and better able to evade the immune system than other strains.

Almost all of the nearly 700 local cases found Thursday in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region came from Hohhot, according to health authorities. The regional capital has reported more than 1,800 local infections since detecting a Covid case on Sept. 28 that was later confirmed to be the BF.7 subvariant."
That is the one growing in US as well- the last I read -CDC - we are at 5% total cases; they say it allegedly evades bivalent booster

Does it "evade" it for spread purposes only, or also for severity-lessening purposes? I had Covid September 2-15, mostly asymptomatic. My doctor says to wait 3-4 months until my next bivalent booster so I'll probably go for one just before Christmas.

That data was a week outdated. They just updated with a few days worth of data. Unfortunately, it's not looking good.
