Drove by two of the bigger restaurants near where I live. Both had erected very large tents outside during the summer. Apparently one had removed one of the tents over the weekend, and the other was in the act of taking the tent down this AM. They were large enough tents that they required a crane to remove. Guess indoor seating will be the only option there.

All this talk about sports is a bunch of nonsense. It's nothing more than an excuse to get the kids out of the house.

Or closing. Or takeout/delivery only. I doubt indoor dining will be an option in the near future.

Having kids interact with other kids and getting some exercise isn't the lazy parenting you're trying to make it out to be.

Lol, ok sports might be nonsense to you, but they're not to everyone.

Hockey is hardly about getting kids out of the house. Who puts on the equipment on and takes it off? Who drives them to practice and games and watches and waits there while it's happening? In a way I'm getting a break from getting up early and dropping what I'm doing to take them to the rink. Do you think I shoo my 4 and 6 yr old out of the house and they get to the rink themselves? Wake up.

I've gotten take-out there before. They aren't closing. They are packed. I've made comments in the past about how I was surprised how busy they were inside and how it didn't look like capacity had been reduced at all. There's usually a line to get in as well.

You seem demented. It's like you have something against parents who want their kids to have a good life.

How about the lazy teachers who dont want to return to work?

I was about to agree with you, until your last two words. I read that as unfriendly. You didnt need to go there.
