When I first started out, I couldnt figure out the rep thing but now I see each point as a token of acceptance and friendship and as a sign of community and connectedness. My minister oft says, "The mystery is that we are connected even when we seem so far apart." That even works on-line. I do feel a connection to you dear people, in Maine and Texas and Virginia and Florida.....Thanks so very much.
I keep having to "spread it around". Geez, I'm turning into quite the little.... um... well. I'll just walk away, slowly now girl, slowly. Don't turn around, no, don't. :::Gotta keep walking:::
Have I mentioned how much I hate working 3 days a week? I miss way too much here, get back after working a day, and can't get caught up.
Update for the ya ya's, we now have done our fingerprint cards at the police station, sent back some other forms we had to do, made our medical appts. , sent in the water test, and done the first step of our homestudy. All we have left is our individual interviews, and the Fire Marshall visit. As soon as that stuff is done, we are there. It's now getting very close, and we are going in the next couple weeks to look at children that match our profiles. Very exciting!!!
Added w/ edit: We are btw, adopting older boys (hopefully sibling set of 2).
Just wanted to stop by and leave a 'dropping'. I have been reading each day but haven't contributed not nary a word in well over a week. Seems the "Christmas Season" ended up being the "Stressful Season" aka "if it can go wrong it will season" seems I had a bit of trouble from years ago SNEAK up on me with our federal government and those three letters that start with an I and end with an S. I thought we were all squared and happy but it seems THEY were not squared and NOT happy!! Long story, but I have been immerssed in past years tax returns for what seems like a month now..... I THINK we will come to a peaceful resolution. Yikes. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and that I am still here and LOVING reading all the threads just haven't had much time lately to be an active participant. I'm still a honorary ya ya, right?:-) I mean I have been moosed once.....
