I went in this morning for my dept interview only to be sent home after an hour wait. Turns out how ever was suppose to interview me had to attend a emergency meeting and they would reschedule the interview. I just hope I dont fall through the cracks because of this. There was alot of people showing up for drug testing and the City Center interviewers where prescreening applicants for housekeeping positions this morning.

It turns out that my position is "more defined" because of that 2nd application underneath. I just got off the phone with a CC rep and they said i'm still good and that I shouldn't be worried. The reason for sobella being there is because that's the restaurant I would be at as opposed to the main kitchen now.

Mandarin seems like its going to be an luxury hotel, I saw on the news the check in lobby is on the 23rd floor so people can get a view of las vegas and the las vegas strip. Also u can also apply there without your current applicantion at city center being remove, Mandarin is not run by Mgm so if you have a app at citycenter already you can also have an app there to

Wow! Are you serious, knowone esle could not interview you. You sat there for an hour....what was said to you after someone approach you? Did they reschedule your interview right at that time? I hope you don't have to wait for someone to call you and reschedule. What position are you interviewing for anyway?

Hello Everyone,
I spoke to a city center rep today (oops! I mean yesterday....just got off of work) and he told me as far as he know, that internal transfers do not have senority. He said since city center is a new property that everyone should start off at the same level. He also stated that people will get their schedules when they are hired according to what is available and what the department head managers need. I've heard many different stories from outside people and some internal transfers I guess if hired we have to wait and see on how the senority procedure is really done

Butterfly,

I talked to them and they told me that they are considering me for a different position. The new position has higher requirements. Now , the old application has "Open" but not active and the new position says "Open" and "Active". I think that any movement is a good sign.
