Has anybody out there gotten any response to audio/visual positions. My app still says OPEN ACTIVE. But I noticed that they removed the position I am applying for from the CityCenter job listings. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I also notice that the position I applied for is posted back on the website (cocktails) to start excepting apps again. I call to check my status and to where I stand, and the cc rep told me I was still moving along in the process. One of the reasons for them posting the position back up there is due to some candidates not passing drug test/ background check. She also stated that positions like security, housekeeping, and more were also put back on the website yesterday to start accepting apps again.

Im curious about this as well. Although, the position I applied for never left the website. It reads on my job page that I am still active,however...I have not received anything. No call for interview..nothing. Im wondering since it is a management position if it will be handled last or what

rushx1,
Maybe you should call city center, I thought management/supervisor positions were being handled first. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU

Thanks for the insight. I did as you said and was surprised that I actually got through within 3 minutes. I was told that I am still in the running for the position and got a "hmmmm" at the end of that statement
Needless to say, the gal I spoke with said to give it two more weeks and if I heard nothing they would attempt to assist me with anything they could.
Not sure exactley what that means..but, it was more than what I expected to hear at least.
So..
guess its back to more waiting.
Again, Thanks for the tip.

rush I know someone who has also applied for management and was told the exact same thing, I don't believe they have begun hiring managers yet. I have no idea why they haven't done interviews but hang in there.

AnnPedi614,
Hello and welcome to citycenter forum, just wondering what is your insight on city center hiring process, a lot of us on this forum have already been call to take a drug test, and now we're just doing the waiting game. We were told that the drug test is not a guarantee, but its good. Did you apply for one of the properties, what position....Well best of luck to you and keep us posted ok

I just got a call from city center today verifying my address, email, and phone number. They said I have completed all my pre employment requirements and to just wait for a call or email for a job offer. They will begin sometime in September. This was actually the second call I got after I took my drug test on the 10th of this month. The first call, I had missed. The second call, I was able to talk to them. Has anyone been called again after their drug test?

Butterfly69,

By the way, my fiance got called today for a drug test. Yay!

Hooray, I have not got a call, but congrats to you and your husband....by the way what does your status page look like on the website. I did call because the position I applied for was posted back on cc website. I was told I was still in good standing and have nothing to worry about. Congrats again to you and your fiance

do you know if it was a department manager that call you, and did they say anything else?
