I'm starting to think most of you people that are complaining so much about Indy are really just miserable in general. I hate Indiana and get annoyed with many of the people here too, but give me a freaking break.

Amen. Indianapolis wasn't for me, so I left. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't have a good deal going for it, as long as one has the right mindset going in.

Come to Detroit - very common at the pizza places there.

That is funny. People in Michigan laugh about how boring Ohio looks and cannot fathom why anyone would live there.

most cities in the us in general have become less friendly due to the transient nature of the population, many small town americans have had to move to larger areas to find employment etc.i will say that when i lived in tampa fla and phoenix az,there were so many transplants i found it very easy to make friends.i think its typical in the us now that anywhere you go you dont really get to know your neighbors.its even worse in europe,if you think cincinnati or indy is provincial..try moving to france.

I'm from the Detroit area, lived there most of my life. I never saw the pizza cut into squares. Only deep dish square pizza not round.
