The development will also have three different dining amenities, including a rooftop bar.
I'm curious to see the renderings for the hotel/food hall/Starbucks. The current renderings all show a 1-2 story building that I assume is just the original plan for the food hall. I would imagine 100 rooms on that small of a lot would be 5-6 floors at least.

The article also mentioned that the Starbucks would have outdoor dining on Monroe street, but from my understanding and the current rendering, the Moxy would not front Monroe. It almost makes me think the Starbucks is actually going into the Autograph which is on Monroe and directly across from the VBC.

I think the answer to my post above is in the Autograph rendering. You can just make out the White sign on the Autograph says Starbucks.

So the new Starbucks will be attached to the Autograph and not the Moxy.

you could be correct, if so then this article is a complete disaster in reporting.

5th Dimension architects mentioned in the article did the Autograph, they may be doing the Moxy as well but the starbucks is a separate entity and there will be some retail space that fronts Monroe slightly and the planned extension of Lowe through the development.
if it is the Autograph how could so many quotes in the article be wrong? Everyone must have had one too many or several too many.

Disaster indeed haha That lets you know how much development is going on.

Any other routes are really not feasible due to terrain and cost. Imagine the chaos going over the Tennessee River , Albertville, Boaz, Gadsden. Just building the road out of Huntsville would take decades and destroy lots of environmental areas.
A route through the mountains is very feasible, but with the way highway construction costs have gone up over the past few years, it'll be very expensive. Just look at all the highways across the country that goe through much rougher terrain than through here and Atlanta. The Atlanta/Huntsville Interstate should have been built many years ago. Hooking up with 72 at or near Scottsboro would be quite acceptable - just go SE from there.

Front Row downtown development website has been updated. Its a bit over the top but they are trying to sell
spaces, this is phase 1 of the project. Also a sign has been put up on the site so maybe we will see some dirt moving before the end of the year.

The road widening and improvements on the Georgia side between Menlo and Adairsville have been very noticeable over the past couple years. I also took advantage of the GA-1 West Rome Bypass on a recent trip.

That's going to be a really nice development assuming all the parts come together. I suppose the tallish building may be the 17-story building that the Mayor approved of (we mentioned it a few days ago)?

Note that on the left side of the main picture there's something called Orion. I guess that name will need to be changed since we already have the Orion Amphitheater.

Yes, and the short stretch just before you get to Adairsville is slowly being turned into a 4-lane highway. It's still got a couple of traffic signals on it but it's a big improvement, or will be once it's open.

We went through Rome on the bypass, then straight down 41 to Acworth/Kennesaw but I'd still rather go Adairsville/75/Red Mountain exit to get there.

It looks like the article was updated to reflect the Starbucks will be in the Autograph Hotel.
