Surprised Suter is leading the league in plus-minus.

It's kind of a junk statistic, but kind of not.

At least he's leading the league in something positive.

No love on this thread for the UMD Bulldogs as they get ready to play for the NCAA title on Saturday...I guess the 'State of Hockey' doesn't extend past the TC Metro boundaries.

Yeah that's unfortunate. Same goes with SCSU and BSU and MSU.

Full of Canadians? When they won it all in '13 the whole team was almost all natives except for 2 or 3 players. Almost the whole team are natives this year as well.

They have 11 foreigners (almost two bands worth), that is too much more me.

In all honesty I root against them because I want to SCSU and my brother went to UMD.

I'd go the other way...if the Gophers are going to choke and lose the National Championship every year, they might as well get back to their unwritten rule of no non-Minnesotans...at least then we'd still have that going for us. We can't win a title since we did bringing Kessel on board...at least be the rare team with all natives.

These non-Minnesotans aren't helping the UM win national championships every year, that is for sure.

11? I don't know if it's that high. Be that as it may, when they won their National title a few years ago only 2 or 3 guys were non natives.

I support SCSU first and foremost because my brother in law played for them and all my siblings went to school there and because Herb started the program and I was born and raised in Herb's neighborhood.
