Dubnyk was off last night but our consistent offense (it literally comes from EVERY player - Scandella, Schroeder, Stewart...and on and on..) puts up a 6 spot. Still looking good. I would lean towards Columbus winning but our home record leans the win towards our favor. It's really a toss up. Dubnyk will have to be a bit better for us to grind out the victory tomorrow.
I was just looking at the North Stars old jerseys... I really wish the Wild would go back to that color scheme. At least a third (fourth?) jersey or something.
Tough loss. Turnover to give them goal 1, Parise misses open net, losing Dumba, the second Columbus goal (which I'm sure Dubnyk would lik back)...are the moments that stood out to me.
I kind of had the Jackets with the slight edge their streak was just a tad longer.
It was good sustained pressure last 10 minutes by the Wild but...you can't win 'em all.

That Parise miss was huge, the game would have been completely different if that had gone.
I hope Boudreau ripped Dumba a new one. Trading yourself for a guy like Calvert is absolute stupidity, Tortarella was probably ecstatic when that second fight broke out.
pretty unusual for the Wild to get 5 of 6 pts on a West Coast swing but still can't seem to close the gap on Chicago. I think they are about to gain another game-in-hand before the week is over which would give them 6 before their schedule begins to tighten up heading up to the All-Star break at the end of January.
good to see Dubnyk back on form
NHL.com writers (in before the official fan vote) chose their 11 man division rosters with Suter and Dubnyk being the only Wild representatives.
I want to see the Wild keep it up in the playoffs. I just have this creeping fear this is all fool's gold and they are going to flame out when it matters.
Chicago win the night before last, results in a 4 pt lead now over the Wild having played 5 more games.
Chicago has also played 8 more home games then Minnesota and has only 16 home games remaining to the Wild's 24.
