4-way Cincinnati chili, of course. It's the Year of the Tiger. Go Bengals!

You know, the Super Bowl stuff. Wings, egg rolls, cauliflower crust pizza, meatballs, deviled eggs, crudites, guac.

We went out for an early Saint Valentine's Dinner. We tried a place I have been dying to try. It was one of the best meals I have had in years! We went here in North Smithfield, RI https://www.luckydogtavern.net/menu

We started with a duck egg Scotch egg.

My husband's lamb ribs with a cherry glaze.

And my Swordfish Mozambique.

We took home sone wings and stuffies for snacking during the big game.

One of my faves - plain meat ravioli - melted butter and malt vinegar, bit of lemon and crushed peppercorn.
Toasted truffle garlic bread.
Mt Dew and water.

Boiled some shrimp for shrimp cocktail. Baked some wings marinated with fresh herbs and half n half and garlic powder, salt & pepper. Also some random mashed potatoes. Saving the steak we bought to cook last night (but didn’t) for tomorrow.

Leftover cottage pie (like shephards pie, but with ground beef, not lamb).

I saved time by using pre-made refrigerated mashed potatoes for the topping, and I don't think I'll ever take the time to make homemade mashed potatoes again. They were Hormel Garlic Mashed, and they were perfect.

Tonight, it's Sea Scallops sautéed in butter, with mushrooms and shallots. The veg accompaniment is roasted asparagus.
