Steak Ums style sub sandwich. Lots of onions, peppers, mini multi tomatoes (found in Costco) sautéed.
Last of my bottle of root beer.

Last night, manicotti. I don't think I've eaten that for 30 years. It was good with a Caesar salad and white wine. Chilly, miserable evening.

SO brought a pork loin home. He was supposed to get parmesan and salame!

Small stuffed pork loin roast off the grill. Cheese, ham, spinach stuffing. Rabbit food and maybe home made rice a roni.

I'm thinking some pork adobo if I can get it going in time. Big batch, to take leftovers camping for pork adobo fried rice omelets.

last night was corn ravioli with ramp pesto, and grilled octopus in a braised veggie & smoked tomato sauce.

Went to Baltimore this morning to see friends and picked up dinner on the way home. Tonight will be G&M crabcakes, coleslaw and french fries. Plus coconut cake and a chocolate mousse mouse for dessert

I made a double batch of Cincinnati chili -- will have some over spaghetti tonight with shredded cheese and chopped onions -- with a green salad -- and then freeze the rest. It's the real deal -- cinnamon, allspice, cumin, vinegar, bay leaves, etc -- nothing like regular chili. It's very tasty. I think I will have dark chocolate almonds and herbal tea for dessert.

Half a small chicken cooked in my rice-cooker with some water.

I used to do the same with a meaty cornish-game-hen........but now they are almost $6 a piece at Walmart,
nope, not going to pay that.

Tonight is Tom Kha soup with chicken. We have no good Thai near us so ordered flavor envelope on Amazon a while back and it was great the first time, should be great this time lol. Tom Kha has galangal which is impossible to buy fresh where we live and some other specific herbs. So tasty.

Today I made Dorie Greenspan's Blueberry Pie but it's not really a pie because you cook each element separately (crust, blueberries, streusel topping) and then assemble. It's made in a half sheet pan. Next time I'm going to turn it into a blueberry cream pie by adding a layer of pudding below.
