Tonight at the Case abode: As I've been wanting to do, I've opened up one of those Lazy Dog TV dinners which I got from the restaurant recently. Tonight, I've got some chicken parmesan (mozzarella and marinara), green beans with peppers (in a melted garlic-butter sauce), and a Nutella brownie dessert. I'm digging in!
Grocery store bought pizza. 2/5. Not the best, not the worst. Lost the bottom crunch after pizza started to get cool. Put in the micro but didn’t feel like putting back in toaster oven. Small glass of Sangria.
A very uncharacteristic meal for us - we went to watch my oldest grandson at the indoor skydiving place near us and they came back here and we had chili dogs, potato chips and a chocolate chip skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream. I’m craving a salad, lol.
IKEA frozen Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots and lentils. I never had the meatballs before -- they were pretty good. I didn't have any sauce with them -- next time I will make the cream sauce. I dug out a box of chocolate covered dried cherries for dessert with herbal tea.
Thank you, smoker, pellet at that, did all the work. Still experimenting with zucchini, had to smother with parmesan and RAOs sauce to repurpose leftovers of that.
