After posting in the pork chop recipe thread- I'm following my own advice and cooking up a pork chop with melted garlic butter- seared in an iron skillet than popped into a hot 450 deg oven to finish. I'll have southern fried cabbage and some couscous on the side.
Crispy Great Lakes yellow perch, sliced avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Sweet corn on the cob, with whipped butter.
Light zucchini and summer squash bake.
Fajitas with lots of garden pepper heat, chicken and a bit of brats. My crystal ball is showing marguaritas on the horizon.
