It has been a long few weeks and now a little break before visiting our daughter close to the Quebec border.
I am still in travelling mode and it rained so hard overnight with severe thunder/lightning and as a result it is extremely humid outside.My fridge is empty and I need to do grocery.
I had pulled out of the freezer last night chicken soup and I feel like strawberries with yogurt for dessert.
We found fresh oxtails for sale at the commissary for $5.50 a pound (they are literally $12-$13 a pound everywhere else we look and are generally $9-$10 a pound at the commissary these days), so bought a few pounds and made a delicious stew the other day.
But we were in NYC yesterday, so I stocked up on a bunch of food from my favorite West African restaurant, which I'm eating through for the next couple of days
Hubby was out on errands and stopped at TB. Got my frozen Baja Blast and a burrito.
Dessert: Blue Bunny pb and chocolate twist cone. Quite disappointed with this box. I’ve had 2 cones thus far. Neither was as good as the previous box. Lacking both flavor and freshness, like it was refrozen. Bleach. Gotta finish them up though. I might tell someone at Customer Service but I doubt they would give a rat’s u know what.
