steamed and cubed sweet potato, cut up commercial veggie burger patties (Bocca), chopped collard greens (from my garden) in a bowl with a mixture of plain Greek yogurt, mayo, and raw honey massaged into it. Kind of a strange combination but was incredibly tasty and filling!
Met up for dinner last night with a friend who retired to Florida and was in town for a visit. Had corn salad with grilled calamari, baked rockfish with a side of broccoli rabe, a glass of rose, and house-made pistachio gelato
Tonight yellow and orange lentil soup/channa atta masoor daal with chapatis,lime/lemon pickle,sliced red onions,red radish and sliced mini cucumbers.To drink lassi.
For dessert kheer/rice pudding/milk rice with a tiny bit of rosewater and pistachio .
It's a damp, cold day in NY so I'm making a big pot of chicken soup with pastina, celery, peas and carrots tonight
