It's my birthday and it's a big, bad, milestone birthday. DH is taking me out to aplaceinn Chagrin Falls OH, hat overlooks the falls, and is supposed to have good foor and a great ambiance.
Tuna noodle casserole. It doesn't sound like much, but my son and his friend loved it. I didn't think it was my best effort, but they assured me that it was terrific. Right. They were happy that someone cooked for them.
The best part of the evening was the game of Monopoly. It wasn't even my idea.
Next weekend, they're going to friend's dad's house.
Having our church adult couple's group over late this afternoon for a cocktail party. I am only fixing egg rolls and stuffed mushrooms, plus we are furnishing the booze. Everyone will bring an appetizer. I doubt we will want dinner after that, plus it is the first game of the Dodger's next level playoffs, so that will come before food. I just hope they all leave before the game starts.
Watching NHL ICE HOCKEY tonight so just making grilled cheese toasts and tomato soup in a cup. Snacks will be roasted Indian spice chickpeas,black salt roasted almonds,Kale chips and beer.
