NK, I am sorry you had such a hard time! Teenagers can be ornery, and I guess yours was. That's really too bad. I hope things get better soon!

Happy birthday to you! I have a "big one" coming up myself in a year and 2.5 months. (Is it too early to start planning a celebration? )

I hope you & hubby have an amazing time!

Oh, what I had for dinner ... leftovers from the crock-pot London broil from a couple of days ago. Alas, it is now all gone!

Happy Birthday to Sheena and glad No Kudzu is back. We had cheeseburgers with mushrooms and onions.

An easy night with no cooking but just heating up leftovers. 'Pozole', black beans and rice.

Happy birthday, Sheena! I had one of those "bad ones" recently, though I made it lots of fun.

NoKudzu, glad you're cooking again. I love the idea of salisbury steak and gravy, but I've actually never made it. I thought they do look similar to hamburger patties?

We went to the State Fair of Texas today, yeehaw! I had the requisite greasy carbs.

Dinner is leftover sauteed mushrooms and green beans from a Chinese lunch yesterday (over rice). I'm going to add some almonds.

I swear I'm going to cook again soon!

Happy birthday, Sheena!!

I'm cooking a bit more, so thought I'd pop in and kinda record what we had. Tonight was smothered pork chops with "corn" bread muffins and broccoli-cauliflower mix. First time trying the pork recipe and the "corn" bread recipe - both delicious and low-carb!
