This looks like a fun group! Tonight it was leftover chicken enchiladas, rice, beans and a salad... since the price of food seems to have gone sky high recently, I have instituted a 'zero waste' program which hubby has heartedly agreed to. Sunday is quiche, with whatever is left over in the fridge from this week. Yummy!

Correct on everything. My sister has been a waitress at the same Greek restaurant for 35 years and is walking thru the process. She is providing the recipe and seasonings.

YankeeGirl-large ovenproof fry pan. Heat olive oil, butter and add lots of chopped garlic-sautee a minute or so. Squeeze juice of 1 lemon, some white wine, salt/pepper. I add shrimp, scallops (whichever)-cook a few minutes, turn them, top w/seasoned breadcrumbs moistened with some of the oil/garlic mix. Pop under broiler for a few minutes-watch closely!!! Sprinklr with parsley.

Thumbs up Sneaking In Some Breakfast

Hi, guys, once again. Thought I'd share some breakfast with you. It's a smoked cheddar cheese omelette with picante sauce. I've got them going with sausage patties (extra sage) to go between two biscuit layers (I had four of them).

And a few cups of Millstone Colombian coffee.

Supper tonight will have to include corn on the cob; I had bought 10 ears for the company we cancelled when our little doggie got so sick. I also had made a potato salad to feed up to 10 people.

BTW, She is feeling a bit better this morning and actually had a little roast chicken left over from last nights supper we think she is going to make it.) Thank you for your concern.

You can't find a better group of people then right here. Some amazing cooks too. They will walk you through just about any food situation. I depend on them all the time. Welcome and keep coming back!

Elston, Your poor little dog. One thing to remember...this has been a very stressful last month or so for your dog. It sometimes takes a while before they even show the signs of stress. The best thing is that she is eating. If nothing else give her babyfood but it sounds like she is enjoying a bit of your chicken which is great. She just may be needing a little kick back time to get use to her new surroundings. You are both in my prayers.

He has some here but only uses them to look at and remind him why he doesn't smoke. Yesterday I felt like stuffing one in his mouth....but no, I am proud of him. He's a difficult person normally but now he's just unbelievable. I am just keeping busy and avoiding him. This too shall pass---I hope!!

Elston-so happy the little one is feeling better today. Cyn may have a point there-the change, the move, etc. Hope she gets perkier everyday.

Denise-I'm w/you-my plan is to go to the store pick up either fried or rotisserie chicken, corn, salad.

One week listed-no lookers-do you believe realtors out here aren't in the offices Sat from noon and all Sun?! The offices are closed.

Cyn good game plan! 24/7 isn't fun.
