Agreed. But I find it to be really funny that the candidate who made ending the war his No. 1 issue in the beginning is embracing and being embraced by people who wholeheartedly supported the war!
But, think about it, we really can't lose in this. Either McCain wins and all is well or Obama wins and he quickly reneges on everything he promised so we get to say "I told you so" and watch the enlightened masses turn into angry mobs. Heh.
Bull. I'm tired of being called a racist on this board when that is so far from the truth it's not even funny. The racists are those voting for Obama only because he is black. I'm more intelligent than that. His race means nothing to me; if his political views matched mine, I would vote for him. But they do not. I would happily vote for Condi Rice and in fact I wanted so much to see an election with Condi Rice and Hillary Clinton as the candidates.
But I agree - Powell would not ever endorse a white Democratic candidate. It wouldn't happen.
Powells endorsemant is very confusing, Afterall he was a insider and one of the biggest backers of going in to Iraq. Might reflect his personal limits having been thru the military structured life and that was were he reached his peak.
