A lot of politicians come across like preachers...It's weird. Guess they want to paint themselves as "holy" and "saintly" or ??? But they are all politicians to me with hidden agendas!

No, Perry's most likely choice will be Guiliani, or possibly Christie. A republican who can get some of the recent GOP-leaning northern states. Romney would also work as a VP candidate, but there will be too much bad blood after the fight they are about to have.

A Perry/Guiliani ticket, while a bit strange to conservatives right now, would easily win the general election. Even if they are running against Hillary, which is increasingly likely.
No way Guiliani or Christie are going to be his VP. If you look at Fox News the past several months, the likely nominee looks to be Tim Pawlenty. Though we will see next year, but I put my money that Pawlenty is going to be the VP

It might depend on who endorses him? I think Rubio would be awesome, so would Christi and yes, Guliani manybe, but I agree Pawlenty is a possibility. Again, we all have to remember, the VP is normally not someone any of us are even thinking about.

You have someone who wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve paired with someone who was a Federal Reserve chairman?

How about that. RP doesn't say he'd eliminate it right away, but phase it out over time. The first thing to do is audit.
I'm torn over Bachmann, I really like her too. Keep in mind, without Ron Paul, I don't think Bachmann or Cain would be in this race.

I wish I had seen it...As for that combination: again, it won't happen. The one thing Paul supporters need to realize, no matter how much you believe in him and he does make good points, many main streamers just do not want to be associated with him in anyway. To find a running mate that will appeal to the other 1/2 and who could work with Paul isn't going to be easy. Now, Cain might be a great running mate for one of the others.

Unfortunately, that's how it is. The Republican candidates have to pass through the Southern primaries, and Southern primaries are dominated by voters whose first priority are conservative stances on social issues, not the economy or anything else. The South will not support Ron Paul on this issue alone

I watched Rick Perry's speech. He made a couple good points, that escape me now, that's how impressed I was. NOT.

That speech was like Deja Vu. It sounded like G.W. Bush all over again. He even stole lots of Bush's lines. I heard ZERO details of solutions of HOW he was going to get anything done. There were just a bunch of promises. There were lots of platitudes and lots of what people wanted to hear with little substance.
