Good luck with that Perry, didn't work out too well the last time some states tried it.
I have seen negative people on this board but you take the cake (along with 3 or 4 others) What do you care, you would never vote for a Republican anyway? Don't take comments that people make in frustration too seriously. Did he make any serious effort to try the secession attempt?

everyone knows this: could you show me the statitics that say people know he is gay. Actually no one knows this except Perry himslf. You might think this is true but you probably need to get your dictionary out if you own one and took up the meaning of opinion versus fact?

Has Perry every held a REAL job in the private sector? I'm thinking "no" based on what I've been able to determine.

Haven't we had our fill of these career politicians?

I seriously do not see the attraction to a Perry candidancy.

The answer is yes, he has. You do not have to see the attraction, but I am answering your question.

If you want to see someone who have spent his life in the private sector and then decided to run for Pres, you would be looking at a candidate with no real experince in politics? Which way do you want it? You can choose a candidate that has spent the majoritiy of his/her adult life in politics, one who know little about the political system or one that has spent her political career as a representative with no executive experience. Or, or couse you can support an Obama, those are our choices, not just this election but most elections.

so you are judging his intelligence on what?

I get a sneaking feeling there are a few libs out there that are scared to death of his running, am I right? Of course you will say, not so cause you can't admit your friend is in political trouble.

From my vantage point, experience in politics seems to help people get elected. I'm not convinced it helps them govern well.

Our history has been to vote in those with political experience. How's that working for us?
