Edit..now LaGaurdia reporting heavy snow and very low visibility. Inside that band.

Just light snow/flurries for the past two hours in Mansfield, CT -- elevation is ~700 ft

Funny that you say that because that was my exact question to Cam in my last post (elevation). My friend who works in Brookfield says it’s just starting to stick now. I think I am close to 800 feet. Still in the 700s, but the high ones. Which is really nothing for this town. Once you get up to Candlewood Hills, or up by Pootatuck Forest and Squantz, even higher!

Yep my grandparents lived in Candlewood Knolls by Squantz Pond...they always got more snow up there.

Heavy Snow in NYC, LaGuardia & Danbury with visibility down to 1/4 mile now.

Heavy Rain in Atlantic City.

Islip changed to snow for now.

Raining on eastern Long Island.


Nice heavy band stretching from Wilmington Delaware to NYC






Edit.. White Plains reporting heavy snow now. That long fetch banding is becoming apparent.


Edit... now Thundersnow in Trenton.. She's building.
