Lets look at the latest radar...

4:30-8:30am loop

You have snow coming from the East in Boston.
Snow coming from the South over us
Snow coming from the West in West Virginia.

Note the purple colors outside Philly.. nice heavy snow happening in the burbs there. Give it time, this will all fill in and get heavier.. Should.

Either way, I think he's right, roads are just still wet here, easily could have had a half day, but I'd prefer they play it safe!

What do you mean everything is shut down? NYC looks to be at 100% (schools open as well). Trains were packed.

I was going to go in half day and leave by lunchtime to avoid the heavy snow. I stayed home since I rarely take a day off but now I am thinking I should have gone in for a bit. My GM wasn't thrilled with my decision......I never thought I'd say this but I hope the heavy stuff does indeed come later.

It's kicking up right now, does your GM travel the Merritt parkway in snow storms often? It gets pretty tough sometimes

Jim Cantore from the weather channel is in Bethel. That can’t be a good sign...
