I don’t know how to post a full size picture, but this is what’s happening in New Fairfield right now. Apologies for the small thumbnail pic. Crazy that for such a small state our weather could vary so much.

Edit - oops couldn’t even upload the pic. Got some error message. Sorry. It just showed that we’re starting to get hit here now...

Slot of dry air up here; barely any snow for the last 2 hours. [I live up in Massahcusetts but not too far from the CT border; about 20 miles north right by the Connecticut River]

And here we go... Thicker flakes here and coming down harder = accumulating

12:25pm. Newark & LaGuardia reported Thundersnow... That's a pure sign of energy and strength

996mb Low off Delaware. Intensity picking up out there. Raining in Islip though.

Large wet flakes started in Orange about 20-30 minutes ago. Nothing sticking yet. Car said outside temp was 35C but that thing isn't that accurate.

Wow 5 already in New Fairfield??...we only have about 2 in Bethel but I am in a valley. You must have some elevation.

And what’s really interesting too is that my friend who works just on the other side of the lake in Brookfield, says it’s just starting to stick there ??? Do you think it’s due to the elevation in New Fairfield, Cam? Because across the “lake” to Brookfield Is literally about a 10 minute swim lol. There’s not much distance at all (as the crow flies) separating the 2 towns. ??
