Southington here...
First past complete, about 6". Super heavy seems to be falling at a clip of 1" per hour.

Just glad that first one is out of the way. The ne t couple rounds should be good. It felt like rain at the end of it though.

A look at all the storm reports last 4 hrs without radar on..

3:45-7:45pm. Pink Icons = Heavy Snow. Icons maxed out at 18".

1-2 feet of snow fell in Northern NJ into Southern NY and into CT. Widespread 5-10" elsewhere.

My 12 inch ruler is under the snow somewhere... Thankful that we didn't lose power. I'd imagine that if it snowed this much with the crazy winds we had on Friday more than half the state would be dark. Guess it was a good thing the wind/rain happened on friday..

Rain now?? Wild. Just had Lightning ThunderSnow an hour ago.

6" snow total melted to 0.93" liquid. 6-7:1 ratios all day.

Winds gusting over 20mph.

Evergreens and Wet snow don't mix!

I changed to rain so if you're near the coast you may as well. But the total back edge is near NYC now. So probably another hour for Milford? Maybe by 10pm

Seems to have come to a stop (or slowed down) here in Fairfield. Probably about 8ish inches and some trees/limbs down in the yard.
