Yup, sez Bethel with 11 inches.....I believe it. The drifts were the worse, had to keep clearing the slider, deck and area in the yard for the pup (Yorkie). With the temps what they are, the woodstove will not be loaded, but I probably should check the Oil level

Little more snow Monday night possible.

Heads up guys...... Thaw coming next week with rain possible... I need to clear the snow drifts against the house and basement windows. At least there's no weight on the roof #ThankYouWind

Get ready... Today and Tomorrow will break this record.. Bridgeport has 10 days in a row staying under 30°F, that's 3rd longest streak on record. Been decades since have a stretch like this!

Hartford ended their streak at 7 the other day staying under 22°. That's 3rd longest on record since 1905. Been decades since. Their under 28° streak still going and about to enter Top 10 longest streaks for that

It's been since 1918 experiencing an Average temp like this in Hartford for the period of Christmas to Jan 4th.

Incredible Pattern since Christmas! And a Blizzard to boot!

Current temps. They just seem all the same at this point, remarkable how long this cold stretch has been going on!

Feels like zero or below it out there. Wouldn't want to shovel anything today...

They must be bad as all those Westchester districts that had delays changed their mind this morning and closed after all.

Also I noticed some weird things in the snow reports. BDR reports 8 inches at 1pm and only finishes with 1 more inch the rest of the day. Newark Airport listed 12.7 inches on their 5pm daily climate report then lowered it to 8.4 inches. Finally, JFK and LGA reported 8 and 7.4 inches when everyone around them (spotters in Queens) reported a foot or more and the news talked about Queens having the highest totals and many residents questioning their decision to open schools today. At least the 9.8" in Central Park seems right (And certainly the 16" in Islip)

Shoveled this morning. Wearing pretty decent gloves and my fingers were frozen after 20 mins. Frigid out there.
