I believe there was a snowstorm at the end of March as well. Given the pattern we're in now, would it surprise you to keep seeing snowfall in March?

I checked OKX and BOX, on March 31 last year BDR had 0.7" and BDL had 0.8". NYC only had a trace (Central Park and all the airports) but Islip had a whopping 4.6" somehow

I actually have a pic from the March 31st snowstorm taken at the Fairfield Metro Train station that morning. My caption was "Winter's last gasp?"

Just so weird.

3 very weird things for me....

Snow blowing around.
Deep snowpack still on ground.
Only 19° midday & sun shining down.

The snow is still fluffy, that is strange after all this time. I mean usually after a couple days it's heavy wet crap even on the ground. gees

Seeing snow blowing around with the wind is another weird thing...

And struggling past 20s when normal is low 40s now?

How awesome is this?? Sorry guys but I been praying for this... you can send the hate mail now. lol

Will go down as one of the oddest months in New England weather history.

Here I thought since we had a milder December and half of January that we would have a mellow Winter. I know you like this but I hate it. Spring cant come fast enough!

It's certainly strange for this area.
That's what usually happens farther north when you have very little snow melting. Dry snow stays dry, it doesn't become wet cement
