Euro12z says the warmest the 850mb temp goes after Thursday is 13°F/-10C over this area till next Friday. It's not just 1 days worth.

It's not mid winter anymore. Will my Dogs intense shedding 3 weeks ago be right?

That had to be a bad run. Here's Danbury, CT data in F°. Be lucky to warm into the 20s 4 times next 10 days

I can deal with the cold as long as there are no monster snowstorms. Besides hating them, I simply have run of room to put anymore.

I'm the other way around.. I prefer both of course all the time but if I had to choose I'd take constant snowstorms over constant cold. Or just 1 snowstorm over extreme cold. Something about cold and no snow that's depressing.

And I know what you mean about no room.. I spent 1 hour around the house making some extra room.. And please tell Mother Nature next time if it has to sleet and ice DO IT AFTER the snow.

Even just an inch of snow first will make the cleaning easier! Makes you appreciate upper 30s like today to get it to become slush.

Not as much as points N/NE but still a 11" snowpack here still looking like a lot...
38° outside with no sun = slow melting

Also I'm really just done with snow forever. Is there any place in the world that has a permanent autumn?
Eureka, CA near the Oregon border......Jan hi is 55, July high is 64 and has NEVER been 90+ degrees (all-time record high is 87)

If I'm reading that run right on the precip and even apply 20:1 ratios, then:

Thurs/Fri is a dusting?

Sat/Sunday only "real potential", but this precip amount suggests 4" tops, right?

Next Tuesday an inch or less.....

Now find me a permanent spring - a bit warmer than that for the summer

My sister lives in Providence,RI. She has not seen her street in weeks. They have so much snow that she has no room left at all.

Man, if only they didn't have earthquakes. Might be tempting to overlook that though...

Dunno, I bet they don't have the foliage we do out here though.

20s! Tropical at this point.

I really hope that is a bad run, 13 degrees max for a few days is going to be rough. My electric bill has been insane from running the heat.
