And SW CT is still in the 8" range. So I wouldn't call it a non event just yet. But the 10"+ we say days ago I don't see happening anymore. (maybe locally?)

And yeah, ice would be a concern.

I'm going on a limb saying there wont be rain anywhere in CT. I just have a hard time calling rain in these events with snowpack and arctic air around. Sleet, Ice Yes. Rain No. We'll see.

TWC has been right a lot this year too. They called the lower amounts in the big storm for us way before anyone else.

The snow plume link also says bust.

They had another map that showed the areas getting <2" of snow getting 0.1-0.3" ice, ouch!

snow plume consensus has Bridgeport at less than an inch. Oxford at 2.5.

Remember though tomorrow the Pacific moisture gets on land and thats when the models really get a handle on it.

Less than an inch?????? Woe, what happened??. Does it show sleet or freezing rain? There's a ptype option with it.

I had to check.. You might of been looking at qpf?

It's showing 6" of snow for BDR through Tuesday 7am.
