Dorian became a Tropical Storm today fighting Dry air and cooler waters.

The 12z GFS has it back, well off the coast. Rain, wind, some coastal erosion is all No big deal.

1Last update 18z keeps it further away.. Still long ways to go. Would be August 4-6 timeframe

Whats strange is the last update shows a storm in center part of country. WHAT IF the 2 decide to merge together? Timing is everything with weather but this is so far off details like this is pure speculation

Yeah, hard to believe our normal lows this time of year are SUPPOSED to be in the low 60s...that's how rare that's become...and why upper 60s feel so good.

Feels very weird.. I forgot what being dry was like.

10:30pm.

44 degrees at Saranac Lake upstate NY.
58 Norfolk and local spots within CT

BTW... Not sure if you all knew this but... there's a coastal storm on Friday. GFS has ben saying we get nothing all along. Euro showed something little. Now NAM bringing rain to the capes.(nothing for us). Like Henry10 said...maybe this is all the warmup.

63 here coupled by a 53 dewpoint. Atlanta and Miami have the upper hand now we may not hold the lead.
